We have dedicated a whole page to information on each offline CRM build’s safety, disclosing tests on various malware. Why? Some operating systems (such as Microsoft Windows with SmartScreen implementation) might flag our software as “produced by an unidentified developer” because we do not currently possess the expensive electronic certificate to sign the executed code. Our CRM is completely free, so an annual certificate at roughly $500 is a little out of our reach at the moment. What are we up to?…

The Allowlist Program grants safe software access to the “Kaspersky” Allowlist System. Each successive offlineCRM version is thoroughly tested for malware. Files for all OS’s builds (.exe for Windows and .dmg for Mac) are sent out to Kaspersky for an independent analysis.

“We understand a free CRM might seem suspicious, considering all the effort put into the end product; however, we are certain that with our platform’s growth, a reasonable monetization system will come. It could possibly be advertising or paid functionality. We will not ever consider implementing harmful malware or limiting current functionality.”
